What attracts Chinese Tourists in Australia?

As per the new research, Australia has received a glowing report card from Chinese tourists.
90% of the Chinese are satisfied with their holiday in Australia.

According to the survey of 3600 Chinese Visitors interviewed for the study, out of which
96% are satisfied with personal safety and security, 94% are friendliness of locals, 77%
with attractions, 72% are with wine experience and 69% with food and beverages.

However, the value for money is rated 57% and shopping is at 51%. 80% of the Chinese
visitors eat Chinese food daily.

One of best thing Chinese feel safe and secure in Australia, enjoy the natural attraction,
friendliness of people, wildlife, dolphin, whale watching, Aussie beaches and much more.
Sydney and Melbourne are on the top to attract Chinese tourists. In the year 2015, about
one of the seven tourists was from the mainland China. Chinese tourists are expected to
contribute around $13 billion annually by 2020.

According to the Tourism Australia, it’s a repeat visitation, where travelers visit a country
more than once. 47% of Chinese arrivals are repeat visitors, as compared to 37% a decade

Places that attract Chinese Tourist in Australia

  •  Victoria
    The Great Ocean Road attracts the highest percentage of Chinese tourists to regional
    Victoria in 2015. This place is home to the 12 Apostle; the pillars stand in the Southern
    Ocean and used to form part of the cliff more than 40 million years ago.
    The sea lake has received great interest from Chinese tourists in the past. The town situated
    400 KM from Melbourne has started becoming popular among the Chinese tourists.
  • Queensland
    Tropical North Queensland & Whitsunday Islands are the regional places which attracts
    Chinese visitor. The Whitsunday Island includes the famous White Haven Beach and Great
    Barrier Reef is famous for crystal water, marine life and white sandy beaches.
  •  Tasmania
    Bay of Fires, Cradle Mountain, Freycinet National Park and Cataract Gorge are the regional
    location in Tasmania becoming popular among the Chinese tourists.

The number of Chinese visitors to Australia is almost 1.2 million more than 20 percent on a
year ago. The government of China and Australia declared 2017 China Australia Year of
Tourism in December.
